Arriving 24th December for 4 nights
Christmas Eve - Wednesday 24th December 2008
Arrival from 3pm your Christmas celebrations start immediately with Afternoon Tea served in the bar & lounge, this afternoon one of your hosts will be available to take you through some of the wines on our extensive wine list. There will of course be time for a little tasting.
The evening begins with champagne & canapé reception followed by a Four-course candlelit dinner accompanied by the sounds of our local carol singers, singing some of your favourite Christmas carols. Then it's our fun Casino night, where the winner takes all.
Christmas Day - Thursday 25th December 2008
A Merry Christmas to you all, the day starts with a traditional Lakeland Breakfast. Santa will be waiting for you in the reception area with your Christmas gift. This morning we give you the chance to explore the 72 acres of woodland at the rear of the hotel with one of your hosts, you never know you may get lucky and find the last Wild Boar!
Upon your return your Christmas feast awaits you; served from 12.00pm. The afternoon is a time to relax and unwind in front of a roaring fire, for those who are still a little peckish Christmas cake is available in the lounge.
The evening is a less formal affair with a light buffet supper followed by our annual Dominoes competition, also there will be Giant Jenga, and Who wants to be a Millionaire being played in the bar & lounge.
Boxing Day – Friday 26th December 2008
There is no need to wake early as we are serving breakfast until 10.30am this morning. The day is then yours to enjoy, however this afternoon our resident Magician will be demonstrating his skills in the lounge, and as an added incentive we will also be serving tea, coffee and cake as well. This evening we will be serving a 3-course candle lit dinner followed by dancing to our resident band.
Saturday 27th December 2008
Today starts with Brunch served until 1.30pm. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy; you can take part in our Treasure Hunt taking in some of the Lakes most beautiful scenery. You could visit our sister hotel The Low Wood and make use of their extensive leisure facilities or just rest in our lounges in front of the roaring fires.
This evening begins with a three-course dinner after which you will be able to participate in the very first Wild Boar Christmas Indoor Tennis tournament, the lounge will become centre court for the evening and we may well find a future Wimbledon Champion.
Sunday 28th December 2008
The final part of your Christmas break is a traditional Lakeland Breakfast, before we wish you a fond farewell and the best for the New Year.
Tariff
The four-night break beginning the 24th December starts from £495.00 per person.
Children's Rates
3 years and under are just charged for meals as taken.
4 – 15 years sharing a room with two full paying adults are charged at 50% of the adult rate.
Children in their own room will be charged at the full adult rate.
Room Supplements
Feature Rooms are an additional £30.00 per room per night.
Luxury Rooms are an additional £40.00 per room per night.
Single Occupancy of a double room £70.00 per night
Discounts
For parties of six or more guests, we offer a 10% discount.

Arrival from 3pm when your celebrations start immediately with Afternoon Tea served in the bar & lounge. This evening we start with a three-course dinner and then our winner takes all casino night.
Tuesday 30th December 2008
The day starts with a traditional Lakeland Breakfast. Afterward one of your hosts will be available to take you around the 72 acres of woodland at the rear of the hotel from 11.00am. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy, why not take in some of the Lakes most beautiful scenery. You could visit our sister hotel The Low Wood and make use of their extensive leisure facilities or just rest in our lounges in front of the roaring fires. We will be serving afternoon tea and cakes in the lounge from 3.00pm. This evening is a Four-course dinner followed by our '2008 The Year That Was Quiz.'
New Year’s Eve - Wednesday 31st December 2008
This morning we are serving a traditional Lakeland breakfast. One of your hosts will be available from 4pm to take you through some of the champagne available this evening, which will include tasting of course. Remember to leave plenty of time to prepare for the evening's celebrations. The evening starts with a champagne and canapé reception in the lounge, followed by a five course gala dinner. Our resident Band & DJ will ensure the music keeps you entertained until the early hours.
New Year’s Day - Thursday 1st January 2009
We start the day with Brunch served until 1.30pm. Today we will be holding our very first Wild Boar F1 Fastest Lap Challenge in the Wild Board Room from 2.30pm, in true F1 tradition its Champagne for the winner.
This evening we will be serving a three-course meal followed by traditional parlour games, also there will be Giant Jenga, and Who wants to be a Millionaire being played in the bar & lounge.

Booking & Deposits
For more information, or to book your New
Year Holiday, please telephone us. To secure
your holiday, a non-refundable deposit of £100.00 per adult
is required at the time of booking. This can be made by simply
quoting a credit card number and details, or by sending a cheque
which must be received within 7 days of the booking being made.
Full pre-payment of the outstanding balance is required 6 weeks
prior to your stay.
Whilst every effort is made to present the
