Whether you want to party the night away, or prefer a less energetic celebration, the team at the Lake District's first four star Townhouse Hotel are eager to host your Christmas Party. Our style is informal, yet professional. The decor reflects city chic. The views over Waterhead Bay are timeless, relaxing and serene. The festive banter, laughter and merriment on the tables - well that's up to you!! No doubt assisted with the contents of our Party Night Boxes and extensive wine list!! The imaginative cuisine reflects The Waterhead's contemporary feel - although traditionalists will not be disappointed. The Bay Restaurant can cater for small parties, or groups of up to 80 guests.

These party nights include 3 course dinner and coffee, party hats, novelties, crackers and a disco until until half-past midnight. We have a new DJ for our 2007 season who is looking forward to playing the tunes that you wish to hear!  Other party night dates could be available, either for small groups or for those wishing to take over the whole hotel for a private party (minimum numbers will apply)   For an even more memorable private party we can arrange additional entertainment such as a close-up magician, a fun casino or musician.   • Disco Party Nights are just £31-00 per person.
  • Non disco Party Nights are £27-00 per person and are available throughout December.

All our rooms have recently been refurbished in a stylish, contemporary manner with DVD/CD players and wall mounted flat screen TVs. Special party night rates start at only £50-£58 per person for Bed and Breakfast.

  • Pre-order eight bottles of wine and enjoy the ninth (& cheapest) bottle with our compliments.
  • Bookings for 20 people or more, which are confirmed including payment of deposit prior to 31st August, receive one free meal for the party organiser.
  • Bookings of 40 residential guests or more, including payment of deposit prior to 31st August, receive two free meals AND free Bed and Breakfast for the party organiser and partner.
