 Sam's
Club is our exciting children's activity club. Anyone aged 5 to 10 years old can join either when they visit one of our
hotels, or online at Sam's very own website. Sam is a big
cuddly dog who has entertained children of all ages at English
Lakes Hotels for many years now. Every child receives a
goody bag when they arrive at one of the hotels and can
choose from his special menu's in the restaurants. You might
even see Sam in the flesh, well the fur at least!

At the Low Wood and Sandpiper Leisure Clubs,
we run regular splash times for all children, young and not so
young, with large pool inflatables and pool toys. Check times
when you make a booking. Children are not permitted in the Clubs
before 8.30am and after 8.00pm. To leave children at splash time they must be 5 years old or older and be an able swimmer.
All our restaurants and bars (except Storrs
Hall) welcome children and have special menus for all ages. High
chairs and booster seats are available.
Infants requiring a cot and sharing a room with 2 full paying adults are accommodated free of charge, for both their bed and breakfast. Children, 15 and under sharing a room with 2 full paying adults, are charged £15 each per night which includes breakfast. All children’s evening meals are charged as taken from either the children’s or main menu.
There's lots to do for kids in the Lakes - the
Low Wood Watersports Centre is a great place to start. We've taught
kids from 3 to 63 to ski, sail and canoe.
