Set in the magnificent landscaped, wooded grounds of Storrs Hall, an extraordinary Georgian mansion hotel, our self catering Lodges occupy a stunning Swallows and Amazons like location , right by the shores of Lake Windermere in the Lake District.

The lodges

Perfect for family breaks and quiet escapes, our 3 star Lake District Lodges are well appointed and comfortable. Most Lodges afford glimpses of the Lake through the beech woods which lead down to the lake shore. You also have access to our exclusive jetty and slipway , from where you can set sail on exciting explorations and adventures.

You can choose from one or two bedroom accommodation. Lodges feature gas central heating, double glazing, a fully equipped kitchen, lounge / dining area, plus bathroom, with bath and / or shower*. Bed Linen provided (not towels).

Outside you have your own private patio, with a picnic bench, where you can enjoy some quality time on a balmy evening just sitting back with a glass and drinking in the sheer beauty of the Lake District scenery.

Access to Lodges: The lodges are set in a woodland location with their own parking area. Steps provide the only access to the lodges from the car park which are not suitable for people who have mobility issues or require wheelchair access. Access Statement (RTF File)

Terms and Conditions

Where a party or a booking consists of three or more lodges and/or is to include members from an organisation/institution/similar body or those benefiting from activities organised by third parties, for example, charities, local authorities and the like you must provide the following before we can confirm your booking:

The name and type of organisation/institution etc, (if applicable)
Details for the contact person wishing to make the booking
The name, age, address and gender of each member of the party,
Any other information we may reasonably require and you must obtain our specific agreement that where the majority of the party is under 21 or includes any person(s) who are normally closely supervised, there will be sufficient capable and responsible adults over the age of 21, in every accommodation unit, to provide adequate supervision for the party.

You must provide the following information prior to arrival and confirm it on arrival:

A completed rooming list or registration form for each accommodation unit, showing the name, age, address and gender of each member of the party and identifying the capable and responsible persons referred to above
The name of one capable and responsible person over the age of 21 who must be present for the duration of the break and accept overall responsibility for the whole party.
